No Criminal Can Evade Us for Long.
Story:
Madison Healy was just a normal striper girl, when suddenly she was found dead on a beach in Miami. Lungs filled with water, but not ocean water, and bullet in her head. Doesn't make sense, but
Horatio, and his team, is here to solve this case... and it is
You who must help them. Lots of people all around the world are watching the
"CSI" (Crime scene investigation) series (CSI Miami, Los Vegas and New York) so you must surely know what this all about; collecting evidences, testing it in the CSI lab, and talking with suspects, with lots of intelligence between each step, of course. All of this you can practice in this new
Gameloft game, if you want to try a job at detective work.
Design:
As you can see from pictures, everything is made in perfect graphics, as we expect from Gameloft. The graphics consist of static pictures and lots of text, all divided into 7 locations which you can choose in a simple map of Miami. Then there are some mini-games when testing evidences, and here the Gameloft designers show us some great animations. As for sounds, the guys from Gameloft did good work, as always, but the only sound you can enjoy is the main tittle.
Gameplay:
If you played the slightly older Gameloft game,
"Special Crime Unit: Blood On Campus", you know what to expect from the gameplay; rolling static images and finding evidence, checking the evidence in a lab by playing mini-games, and speaking with suspects by choosing question-and-answer themes while trying to explore this mystery. What else can you have from a good adventure game? Gameloft just shortened the long transport, usual in some other adventures, to make it more fun to play.
Conclusion:
If you like the
"CSI" series and/or adventure detective games, you have to give this game a try. It's like watching CSI on TV; great story, lots of surprises, and thinking about who could be the murderer and how could this all happen. And of course the best part is the last, when you completely know how everything happened, and you can put bad guys behind bars.
