Story:
In the early 2100s, a company, known as "Buy 'n Large", supplies almost every service on Earth and eventually becomes the world government. Overrun by consumerism, the planet eventually becomes so heavily polluted that it can no longer support life. In an attempt to keep humanity alive, Buy 'n Large sponsors an exodus to space aboard hundreds of massive Executive Starliners, the largest of which is the "Axiom", which leaves Earth in the year 2105. In the meantime, thousands of "WALL-E" (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) units are left behind to clean up the planet. By 2815, only one WALL-E remains operational. Through 700 years of being alone, WALL-E has developed a personality. He collects items that he finds among the refuse, including a videotape of the 1969 movie "Hello, Dolly"!.

The eco-theme has become very popular throughout the world. It is now a problem that we must face up to and deal with.



Design:
As a film-based game, the character continues the funny and wise motions in the film. Wall-E can recycle wastes and make them useful. Your goal is to help Wall-E complete his item collection (there are 40 collectible items). New items or levels will be unlocked if older ones are found. Meanwhile, a total of 5 new skills can be learned if you collect enough items. All the found items are marked with "star symbols". How does Wall-E recycle wastes? He creates a cube by collecting 2 pieces of trash. Heavy or magnetic pieces of trash can be used to create "special cubes", which are heavier than normal ones and will help to complete Wall-E's missions. ;) The game is more like a puzzle game that you must solve some puzzles and overcome certain obstacles or mechanisms to collect the item you are looking for. The points will be calculated by using the remaining time on each level.

One feature of Wall-E is that he can jump over small obstacles automatically. The basic control of Wall-E is just to have him go left or right by pressing the "4" and "6" keys, and collect and throw items with the "5" key. Before you play the game, you can have an overall view of the level with the map/camera function. This will help you to find the best solution.

The color of the background is bright and vivid. I remember that it's the same as that in the game "Destroy All Humans 3" by THQ Wireless. :P



Gameplay:
The items Wall-E must find can be "fire extinguishers", "rubber ducks", "lighters", "trophies" and "plants". There are eight of each type of item in the game, which are all loaded in a track. In the map, you can see trash bins in different colors. The green ones are unlocked, while the gray ones are locked. You can choose items you want to collect in the green trash bins. But at the beginning of the game, you can only collect fire extinguishers. You must also collect "flyers" for the items, found in certain levels, to unlock the other items.

There are 5 skills you can learn during the game. The "Heavy Cubes Skill" allows Wall-E to create heavy cubes. The "High Jump Skill" allows Wall-E to jump higher, thus Wall-E can reach higher, without cubes. The "Magnetic Cubes Skill" and "Heavy Cubes Skill" are alike. The "Boxform Skill" allows Wall-E to go into and out of boxform. You can break fragile floors by dropping on them while in boxform. (Before you learn this skill, you must throw a heavy cube to break the floor.) The last skill is "Summon EVE Skill", which allows Wall-E to call on "EVE" to destroy barrels.

In game, as mentioned above, the camera does help you to finish levels. You can press the left soft key to change to camera mode whenever you want to view the map.



Conclusion:
Throughout the film, Wall-E repeatedly plays the videotape he collected, especially the performance of "Sunday Clothes". The movie teaches him emotion, particularly holding hands (which becomes a recurring theme). He also finds and saves a seedling plant, placing it in an old boot.. What does the game or the film teach us? We should think about it :!:
