A Physics-Based Game of Annihilation
Concept: COLLIDER is an addictive, physics-based iPhone game featuring 56 intricate levels of play and dynamically generated music. Your goal is to destroy all of the positive and negative particle balls on the screen by making them collide. Place the available balls on the screen and then press play to navigate the particle balls through pipes, gears, sensors, bombs, springboards, pendulums, seesaws and more. An auto-save feature automatically saves your progress.

Design:
The game is very original; if you see it from the graphical side, you will notice that there are not a lot of games like this out there, as far as physic-based puzzles, that is. It features a cool graphical mix of some kind of steampunk and industrial styles. Still, there are some details to be pulled out here, like the ending of the pipes that are not so realistic, but that won't affect the gameplay at all.
When talking about the sound, the game features a dynamic background music and cool sound effects. It's also works great with the rest of the game concept of course, as well as the option to play just one or both the music and sound effects, or to play your own background music from the your iPod music library.
Talking about the game content itself, there are 56 levels of fun and skill that you must complete, however, there is no unlockable content or a social network where to compete for a world wide rank.

Gameplay:
This is something extremely easy to control; you can play it even without reading the tutorial.. It's all about placing the positive and negative balls in the right place. When you push the "play button", they go through the map, cruising through pipes, mills and many other elements, and then collide with each other to explode.
You have a lot of levels with a lot of moving elements within them. It's on you to place the balls in the right place and push the "play" button in the right moment to successfully complete the level. The difficulty increases with the passing of each level; the farther you go, the harder it gets.. and some of the levels will surely keep you thinking way longer than others! Also, on many levels, it will depend on how lucky you are to push the play button at just the right moment.
I found no issues with the framerate, and even though this is a beta version being tested, I can say with confidence that there will be no mayor changes on the final version in regards to the smoothness and quality of the game.

Conclusion:
Although I tested just the pre-release beta version, there are a few features that I would like to suggest for a future update. So far I can say that we have a very well made port from a complex PC flash game to a very cool iPhone title. I can also happily say that I experienced no crashes, slowdowns, jerkiness, or any other kind of platform or gameplay errors at all. I'm really enjoying playing this so far, and I'm really looking forward to testing the final version to see what, if anything, has been changed or added to it. Although there are things that I wish this had, as mentioned above, things mentioned above, I still dig this game and I'm looking forward to see it released.
"Collider" is not the kind of game for one specific type of gamer; it's a game that everybody can enjoy, at least in part, regardless of genre preferences. It has great original graphics, it's casual, easy to access and play, but also features some hardcore levels that are really hard to beat! It's in part an action game so that you will watch the circuit after you pushed the play button, and sometimes in certain levels, it's way too fun to watch the whole process before the balls collide!
Although there are some details with the game, such as the lack of a social network or online ranking, it's not out yet, so it's hard to rate without knowing what may be with that aspect. But from both what I experienced and from what I expect for the final version, I can say that this game is already a winner.
