You will have to download the new version of the game again, but will not have to re-purchase it. Your activiation key will still apply to the new version. However, the old version will not be compatible with the new version. This means that people still using the old version will not be able to view the SOLO BATTLE rankings for people using the new version, and vica versa.

so i think eventually once most swap to new version the old version's server for rankings and stuff will be get shut down ,if i'm correct n-gage need to be making a bigger deal about ppl getting the update
